Scouting is an essential part of our expanding ministry for children and youth. Our Boy Scout Troop is a member of the Old Hickory Council of Boy Scouts of America. In addition to regular meetings, camping trips and things that Boy Scout troops typically do, Pine Grove’s Troop serves as ushers at an annual worship service at which the church recognizes their accomplishments. The troop also presents service and achievement awards at that service.
Young elementary school aged boys are encouraged to consider looking into our Cub Scout Den. Our den is a member of the Old Hickory Council Cub Scout program. The council, of which our den is a member, currently has over 115 packs in 6 districts. That’s a lot of Tigers, Wolves, Bears and Webelos!

Pine Grove has a Daisy and a Brownie Troop. They meet on Wednesday evenings beginning after Labor Day from 6:30 until 8:00. If interested in getting in the troop or if you are an adult that would love to help, contact Polly Caudle at 336-766-6836 . We do have a leader for the troops, but need others to help her.
