Pine Grove celebrates Holy Communion on the first Sunday of every month and on other special occasions such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Christmas Eve.
We are a community of believers and lovers of the Word of God with a long tradition of outreach and service to its members and the community.
Our congregation strives to recognize and nurture Christ in ourselves and each person that we encounter. We offer a variety of opportunities for spiritual growth and worship experiences, and we actively share our faith in Christ with others through service, outreach, nd fellowship.
Pine Grove welcomes all persons, wherever you are in your spiritual journey. Whether male or female, young or old, you are welcome here. Whether you are homeless or housed, rich or poor, you are welcome here. Whatever your physical or mental abilities or limitations, the color of your skin or your cultural heritage, you are welcome here.
God resides in you because you are beautifully and wonderfully made. You are welcome here because Christ welcomes you, and so do we.
Please join us this Sunday to experience for yourself the fellowship of Christ!
Children in Church
Children are always welcome in worship at Pine Grove United Methodist Church. We have a nursery for very young children but children above infancy are encouraged to participate in and learn how to worship. We regularly set aside a special part of our worship service as a time for children, a “mini-sermon” that’s topical and at a level designed specifically for children. Many adults say it’s of value to them!
